We had our first excursion of our trip here and it was amazing. Teeming with wildlife and great opportunities for photos. Paddle power at its finest and there are times you can hear nothing but nature.

It’s a 3k hike to the lake from the river. We had nine people in our canoe and everyone took turns rowing. It seems that most places near Puerto Maldonado will take you there.
