When you have a stay near Nizwa or around Nizwa it’s a must seen place. On Fridays there’s also a goat and cow market infront fort nizwa. Also the Market inside the old city is beautiful. Also on fridays you can see the locals dancing...More

Nice Fort. Castle. Thrilled scenary. Souq. Totally mind is full and happy. Enjoyed well. All my friends are ecstacy after seeing. Nice ambiance and maintained nicely. Magnificient view.

Impressive fort with great views to the landscape. Nice little museum with fine displays. Lots of steps. Not for persons with difficulties walking.

A well maintained fort with adjoining souk... great place to visit if u have inclination towards history and ancient artifacts... The entrance fees of RO 5 is very high... but a good place to visit

A brilliantly renovated fort and castle which is well worth visiting. Allow 2 hours at least, take some money the cafe (you'll want to re hydrate) and also 'local pancake' stall. Take a guided group tour to get the most from it. Helpful tour guides...More

The fort is open 9am-4pm Sat-Thu and the entrance fee is 500 baisa.
