The old colonial town of Lima is beautiful with lots of wonderful historic buildings. It is well worth a visit and I would visit it again. It was the second visit for my wife and she would do it again.

If the weather permits walk through the city center looking at the colonial buildings and compare with the modern more dirty times of ours. There is now a movement to restore the buildings and the walks that is making it better.
