Accessible from either the Nawiliwili harbor side on Hulemalu Road or from the Kauai community College on Puhi Road. There is an overlook that looks down on the pond that is being renovated and cleared. New signs explain the history of the ponds very well.
Wouldn't go out of the way for this, but if you're in the area, it's quite interesting. Pretty views, but, you're on Kauai and everything is pretty! Very limited parking. GPS actually took us past it! Easy to miss!
