What a site to see!! Cannot believe that this was found and unearthed. Nothing like it! Make sure to drink lots of water, wear walking shoes and bug spray.
Be prepared to walk up stairs as well, so worth the views.

I did not go there from Belize. I did not see anything for me to think there are any safety concerns in that area. I highly recommend the visit. It appeared safe Nd was filled with tourists. So you will be fine.
