We really enjoyed this tour! It was so amazing seeing money being made and the process that is envolved. It was very informative and we couldn't believe everything that goes into just making one dollar! Definitely go!
The general public tours are only every 45 minutes, and the lines are long - and outside in the cold. We waited for 30 minutes, but were unable to get in. There's a 40-person limit for every tour. The next one was in 45 minutes,...More
This was my number one pick of the day to visit, but I let my wife do hers first. The engraving bureau web site posted a weekday closing time of 5 pm. So we went at noon and found a line of 34 people. Plenty...More
Really disappointed. Waited months for a tour group. Having a tour ticket got us to the front of the line, which could be helpful at busy times. Tour was supposed to be 45 minutes. We got rushed past a big sign about the dollar bill...More
This place was great. We toured it this past week. Tour shoes how they print money, monitize it, then cut and wrap it. One of the neatest tours we've been on in DC. Be sure to turn your phone off or they will confiscate it....More
Got there at 10am. Tcket booth wasn't open for some reason , so we waited in the sun for an hour for the 11.15 tour , only to be told we would have to wait for the 1pm tour. That meant waiting in the sun...More
I left my house early to get Tour Ticket for this attraction. Was surprised to see the signage at the Booth where these tickets are distributed saying that they are NO longer required!
I noted some people being allowed to enter ahead of us. Learned...More

We had a family of 5 that day when went, there doesn’t seem to be a limit of people. I do know that it is first come first serve and certain amount of tickets for certain time slots so if let’s say the 9:30am had 4 tickets left when you get to the booth and you need 5 then you pick another time slot for your family of five. So make sure you get there 1/2hr at least before booth opens up because people do get in line early.
I just checked this so sorry for the late reply Albert. They are usually pretty good about working with you at the bureau of engraving but maybe two adults should go pick up tix. Go half hour early in the am as the line does... More
I just checked this so sorry for the late reply Albert. They are usually pretty good about working with you at the bureau of engraving but maybe two adults should go pick up tix. Go half hour early in the am as the line does pick up. DC is great just to walk around with all her monuments and parks or with kids book a cycling trip around the city. Have fun
