Stopped here on the moonlight tour with Old Town Trolley and it was magnificent to see at night. My 6 year old is a huge Lincoln fan so we did a video chat at the monument which he was excited about. Just being in the...More

I took my young daughters here for the first time. They had just been learning about Lincoln so it was interesting to them. It’s fun to climb the huge steps and think about all the history that has taken place on them. The view is...More

I've been here twice, once during the day and once at night and both times, the monument is stunning. It almost feels like you're back in time. During summer months, it does get busy.

A must see when visiting Washington DC. Historic masterpiece on a grand scale. Reading Abraham Lincoln's infamous words on the wall make us proud to be American.

This is my favorite memorial of them all. It is just so awe inspiring to enter and see the huge statue of Abe Lincoln. Reading the Gettysburg Address on the wall also reminds us of his greatness.

Particularly beautiful at night, the view from the steps where Martin Luther King stood is inspiring. Nice clean restrooms too.

Completed in 1922, this most-visited American monument in DC has appeared in no less than 60 movies. It’s open 24/7 and that’s great cuz I think photos there are prettier at night; it’s also less crowded. It’s free admission like many things in DC &...More

Honestly, take the metro into town and get off at the Smithsonian stop. That places you roughly in the middle of the National Mall. They have a red bus called the DC circulator that you can ride for free and it will take you... More

My opinion is No, that's not enough time, 20 minutes at each place is like running from place to place without actually paying much attention to what is there. I suppose, depending on how you sightsee, you could run up to... More

It is. But D.C. is worth spending more time in. If you also want to visit some of the museums, you should plan for some days. Enjoy your stay. It is a nice city. :)
