Pleasant area for a walk about down at the water. Was quiet when we were there but that could be because of the time of year. Interesting ships, and great view of Brooklyn Bridge

This area has all you want, some great restaurants, shopping, an outdoor bar. Views of the Brooklyn Bridge. An area that you don’t want to miss, also close to Pier 17.

The south street seaport is so different since the devastation of hurricane Sandy. It’s still a beautiful place with gorgeous views. A lot of restaurants, entertainment and concerts. The place is great for photos, several shops and other places to eat. I still miss the...More

Came across this area by accident! On a weekend night, multiple food vendors set up, plenty of picnic tables & seating, all local shops open, open air bar & a great historic feel.

A lovely area of the harbor, completely destroyed in Hurricane Sandy and underwent renovations. Today it has nice restaurants, bars, shops and cool sitting areas overlooking Brooklyn. In the large ships area you should climb up on a large terrace where you can rest and...More

This is the oldest part of New York. The buildings are beautiful and it is a great place to come and spend some time. There are plenty of places to eat and drink and shops too.

We came into the city for a race Today. Great place to hang out and have fun. It’s not changed in the twenty years I’ve not been in nyc

It is probably only half way back from Superstorm Sandy. Too many empty storefronts still. It is a nice location and it will be great when it fills up.

This small oasis in NY is brilliant. A couple of wide cobbled streets flanked with low rise building is a take away from the rest of Manhattan. There is a calm and relaxed feel about the place which picks up the pace around lunch time...More

They maintain a historic look and feel, but this mostly a tourist attraction with restaurants and high end stores. The museum was closed when we visited so it might have been a better experience.
