Such a beautiful sight to see over a large section of Oregon. I'd had this on my bucket list for awhile. Unfortunately, it was pouring rain the last day of my trip so I had a somewhat limited visit here. Will go back!

We visited a few months ago after buying a cabin in the area. Took a drive up Lolo Pass to the campground spots and wandered off on a couple trails. Junta beautiful views everywhere. Will come back in the Spring to adventure more.

Mt. Hood National Forest encompasses slightly over 1 million acres of great scenery and landscapes, including eight wilderness areas totaling over 300,000 acres. The developed facilities are excellent and the views (including of Mt. Hood on clear days) are great.
