This is a great place to kayak, canoe, or paddle board along the river. Great hikes to the grotto and falls. There are local outfitters and boat trips if you do not have your own.

Today we had a glimpse of the river from the observation deck. This river is really beautiful. There is a place where you can rent kayaks and go along the river. I strongly recommend this place to anyone.

Such a beautiful overlook. Really only takes a few minutes but certainly worth a stop. This is the only navigable river in Hawaii.
