We were in Halifax on a lovely sunny day, so it was a real pleasure to walk along the Boardwalk - there's plenty to do and see, with lovely views.

We spent several hours walking the boardwalk and visiting the shops and seeing the sights. The weather was perfect and the farmer's market was a great place to eat and shop for souvenirs.

Halifax waterfront is a 1 mile boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants. Plenty of stops to relax on andirondac chairs and hammocks to enjoy water views. Good place for kids. Similar to Baltimore Harborfront, Maryland.

Such a lovely place for a relaxing stroll. We were there on a cruise ship, ate at the bicycle Thief restaurant, and enjoyed the stroll.

Well maintained boardwalk with a multitude of attractions, cafes, restaurants and shops. You really do need a nice dry sunny day to appreciate it fully. Well worth a visit and a stroll around.

Great views of Dartmouth across the Harbour, busy container ship traffic, views of Georges Island and many more attractions along with an outside...More
