This little street has a number of artisan type shop[s that make it worth a visit. In October it was not very busy but I would expect it to be bustling during the summer period.

This was a little disappointing to be honest. If you know the history of the alley you might find it a little more exciting but there is not much down there and once you have walked the short trip down you walk away disappointed.

Make sure your ready for a Narrow Passage and standing sideways as you make your way down Fan Tan Alley. We bought a Bistro furniture set and some unique children umbrellas from two of the shops there. An interesting alley!

We went down here on a Sunday expecting a bustling and vibrant street....but everywhere except the umberella shop was shut. Very disappointing.

In the second oldest Chinatown in North America! This alley is barely bigger than your shoulders and is a neat historical footnote to Victoria's past.

A small alley with some interesting shop for the younger generation. Not much for someone who is a senior. It is part of the city's history, which is interesting.

Easily accessible by foot, it is highly recommended to visit this tiny street for its special atmosphere. Some interesting shops!

This is really a very narrow alley in the midst of Chnatown. It is rather quaint and has a few shops on it.
