Very nice scenery! If you're driving from Banff to Jasper it's worth stopping to stretch your legs and do the walk. Nice paved path and made for some really nice photos.

There are a lot of waterfalls, rivers and lakes along the highway. This is one of the better ones to view.

It is able to be viewed all year round as the snow ploughs keep the roads open. You have to watch for ice and snow in the area around the falls though.

We were there at the beginning of this month and some of the hiking trails were still inaccessible and parts of the falls frozen, but as others say it is beautiful and some of the trails are accessible but icy

There are a lot of attractions you can see and do in this area, depending on the age of maybe kids that are traveling with you.If you start in Canmore Just visit the tourist info.They are very competent and like to help.They... More
