One of the best spots (according to everyone) to go for sunrise. The parking lots fills up super early, though. The sunrise was around 7:30AM when I was there and it was recommended to get there before 6:30AM. I was there at 6:15AM just to...More

We travelled on Roam service bus from Banff to avoid hopeless parking and shuttle service. This was really cheap and took us right into Lake Louise village where another cheap shuttle took us to Moraine Lake. Georgeous colours and mountain surroundings. Climb up giant rock...More

We visited a number of lakes on our trip and this may have been the most picturesque. Be sure to take a walk along the shoreline to take advantage of all of the perspectives. If you have the time, a canoe ride would be nice.

During our visit to Lake Louise - we hoped on the bus which took us to Moraine Lake. Completely breathtaking. Definitely worth the walk up the rock stair case. Once to the top you can’t believe the colour of the water - to me so...More

I would have to say this lake was better than Lake Louise. The colour of the water was stunning and the viewing area on the side of the mountain was amazing.

Go early. Parking is limited. It is very beautiful but because it’s smaller it seemed more crowded. We went during an Oct snow. Gorgeous

Lake Moraine it worth the visit if you are in the area. It is smaller than Lake Louise but equally as dramatic. The surrounding mountains are stunning and look great even in bad weather where they look atmospheric and imposing, unless you can’t see them...More

Moraine lake is another beautiful attraction in Lake Louise. Get there early to beat the crowds or be prepared to take one of the shuttle buses as parking fills up fast.

It's kind of hard to tell the difference between this and Louise lake. You can't go wrong with either. If you have the time, visit.

I can't be very optimistic. But let me suggest that you call Moraine Lake Lodge directly and explain your mobility restrictions. See what they say. The same goes for Lake Louise (phone the hotel) and Emerald Lake (phone the... More
