We briefly stopped by the glacier site on our way to Jasper from banff. You can see the glacier really well from the roadside stop. The scenery is beautiful. We also stopped at nearby bow lake.

We did a quick stop at this glacier on our way to Jasper. We just viewed it from the road side lookout. It’s a great glacier. It got its name because it looked like a crows foot until one of the three toes broke off.

You can see this from a viewpoint or stop at Bow Lake. Nice little stop to walk around or splash round in the shallow end of the lake

This is a special and spectacular place, in August on a nice day it is well worth keeping an eye out for and best seen from the highway when driving south

Easy to see if you stop at the beautiful Bow Lake on the Icefields Parkway. An impressive sight with the ice 'flowing' down from the snow capped peak.

Just like most people already reviewed, this one is a very easy location as it's by the road side but it's also easily missed and I meant that literally because not only one have to pay attention to the shape of the glacier that looks...More

Best seen from the viewpoint about 10 miles north of Hector Lake. The glacier runs along the ledge at the top of Crowfoot Mountain. It has three prongs ("claws") that go down the side of the mountain. Cool view.

This is easily seen from the side of the road while travelling towards Jasper, just after Bow Lake. Just pull over and stop the car and marvel at this glacier. Quite amazing!

We were able to stop the car and have a look at the glacier. Great to see it with some mixed cloud coming and going. we did not go on a tour or a hike, but viewed this spectacular sight from the roadside.

This was a very easy to see glacier on the Icefields Parkway. No long walk required. Worth the stop.
