This is where it all happens. A lovely zocalo and great place to have a sit-down after strolling through the town. We watched the spectacular parade celebrating the patron saint form here. Great place to set a rendezvous.
While anyone who has been old cathedrals in Europe will recognize a similarity, there is something unique about this church. Make sure to find the big crucifix made of straw by local craftsmen a few hundred years ago!
San Miguel de Allende is one of the most beautiful cities I've visited. The Parroquia is so amazingly beautiful you can't get enough pictures of it. It is in Centro and is surrounded with wonderful galleries, stores and restaurants. This is a city you don't...More
We are here in San Miguel de Allende for 14 days and have been here during the biggest annual events, Independence celebration and the celebration of Saint Miguel Arcangle. The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangle has been the center for all the celebrations. People crowd...More

A must see and impossible to miss in SM.

I can sit for ours in the jardín in front of the beautiful parroquia! The weather is just great and Saturday nights the mariachis just make the environment even better! No doubt one of the best cities in the world I’ve visited so far. I’ll...More
We have visited SM many time and always love it, and it was so fun to accompany friends who had never been. We sat on a patio by the park and had margaritas, enjoyed mariachis, and shopped. It is always a fun time here!
