Has to be experienced from the outside, but well worth visiting as a part of Chichen Itza to imagine what it must have been in its heyday.

Chichen Itza, a couple of hours away from Cancun, this is a place to enjoy with the family, lots of history, lots of green, great shopping.

Great little visit. Its literally right next to chichen itza, so there's plenty to see. Recommend getting there early to avoid crowds and heat. Take cash if you'd like to buy souvenirs

I wasn’t expecting so many ruins, everyone always talks about the biggest one but these smaller ones are pretty cool. It didn’t disappoint. The story behind it is really cool.

I wasn’t expecting such a huge site in addition to the main pyramid and the remaining carvings are very intricate. The whole effect is of an enormous complex that must have been very impressive in its day.

Not very impressive ruins that are too blocked off to go into. I have seen a lot more impressive ruins tbh.

This is another wonderfully preserved ruin within the Chichen Itza World Heritage Site worth spending time gazing upon. There are tons of pillars all around it and like the other buildings here, everything is in impressive condition.

Hundreds of 7 ft columns....many intricately carved. Site covers several acres, so it makes statement of the societal values. A site that really stirs the imagination. Aside from the historu is all the curious thoughts that come to mind. Would love to walk around it...More

Great Mayan structure that fuels the imagination! This temple is situated behind the El Castillo (large pyramid) at Chichen Itzna. The stucture once had a roof covering it. The carvings are awesome. Go to Chichen Itzna this year! What are you waiting for?

Such amazing architecture and carving of animals of jungle. Make sure you are accompanied by a guide who will explain it all to you so you appreciate the whole history of it all.
