Alameda Central is one of the few relatively peaceful spots to get a breather in the Centro Histórico area. It has a ridiculous amount of fountains for a park its size but also provides a lot of nice spots to sit and chill.
Its a gracious parkland providing a perch to unwind and recoup one’s stamina. Lots of poplar trees, the Spanish word is Alamo . It teems with families and lovers on weekends but during the week is a gracious reprieve from the heat and noise
This is the park where many Mexican families come to take a stroll on weekends, it is a history walk on its own given the multiple historic buildings arround. Plus it is beautiful specially in Spring when allthe Jacaranda trees are in bloom.
