The water was ruff , red flagged and appeared to be dirty, beautiful sunsets. Sand was not fine grain, but with little stones mixed within.

You can’t visit Puerto Vallarta and not visit the Malecon or any of the beaches or restaurants in the area.

Last year I observed raw sewage in the river that flows into the ocean at Punta de Mita. I guess the little towns up river don't have treatment facilities. We now just use the pool at our condo!
