The city is a beautiful place, the malecon is a very quiet and beautiful place to walk at the end of the afternoon. I recommend watching the sunset.

Great place for a nice walk, skate, cycle or jog. Local people flock the Malecón as the sun sets and heat goes down.

Just walked in and I felt like I was Home. Great place! The owner is very kind and so is his staff! Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere, etc. etc. etc. I highly recommend this place to everyone local and domestic!

Take a stroll along the Malecon and see all the shops, while you walk along the water. Such a great place to take the family at night, after dinner and walk along the water with your ice cream.

Both of my places were off El Malecon, I loved it. Very scenic, with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops along the beachfront. Spicy hot, but totally worth it. There are built in beach umbrellas but due to the heat, they may be taken up, so...More

La Paz is a wonderful place to visit. It is less commercial than Cabo. Lots of families come out and walk the Malecon in the evening, when the sun is going dow. Only the stupid Americans walk in the mid day sun, 100 degrees.. Nice...More

Really enjoyed a couple-hour walk here. I was in La Paz in the 80s, and this place has definitely changed. Bring your camera. Take a walk. Don't recommend swimming in the beach. Sewer drains empty into the bay.

Nice place to spend the day during winter months. Sept-March give or take. Check local calendars for fun events or just enjoy the day strolling , taking in the scenery and having a nice meal.

The Hotel Blue is where we stayed, the room was very reasonable and included breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the Malecon. If you are looking for a tour operator, I can highly recommend VIP. Enjoy!

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.
