The most impressive museum you will ever visit. You will see some of our older artists work along with the new younger creative teens. They are doing phenomenal work. A must see!!

A seriously interesting place to visit! The art itself is worth your time. You can get a good feel for any city by visiting their art museums. It says a lot about a place by what they choose to show you. Here, the building that...More

The National Art Gallery is a short walk uphill from downtown Nassau. There are some sculptures on the grounds and beautiful landscaping. It is unusually quiet up there. You can also go next door to see Fionna's Outdoor Theater. If you walked there from Bay...More

Beautiful gallery with so many collections of Bahamian and Caribbean artist. Love the transition from an old mansion to a modern day gallery with a view of the harbour.

It was a bit of a hike to the Art Gallery (we were committed to walking), but well worth it (and the air-conditioning was a welcomed plus). I was inspired by many of the stories of the artists, especially the very strong women of the...More

We enjoyed this wonderful exhibit. Lots of local work with captions that remind you of the struggles for everyday Bahamians. Gift shop could use a little more variety but it was well worth our visit.

The NAGB ranks among one of the top things to see/do while in Nassau. The showcases are always absolutely amazing and the quaity of art is definitely world-class.

This museum has a fairly quickly rotating series of exhibits so it would be difficult to recommend specific rooms or works of art that are must-sees. However, the building itself is fascinating and, if the exhibits I saw during my recent visit are any guide,...More

I've walked there each time I've been at port. It is uphill so it's a little strenuous but walking up the street is an adventure in itself. It is also within walking distance of Graycliff Chocolate Factory and Watling's Rum... More
