Awesome area-fantastic beach; clean and comfortable. Safe, clear water; staff friendly. A few vendors walking around but fun to deal with.

We travel a lot and there is nothing better than Bahamian waters and their beautiful beaches! Snorkeling is amazing due to the clarity of the water.

A lovely beach a short taxi ride from the town and port. Great for sunbathing, swimming, or long walks on the soft clean sand. Remarkably uncrowded considering the quality of the beach, I guess many folks dont leave the big resorts that line the Western...More

The port where the cruises comes in on is a very short distance from cable beach. But take a cab or recommended transportation, because the public transit move at their own pace. Less than 10 minutes.

I would recommend Paradise Island. Sandals also have their own private island that I believe the cruises can get a day pass. Enjoy.
