Gorgeous beach. Beautiful views. The snorkeling at Anse Chastanet/Anse Mamin is much better though. Drinks at the bar are good and loungers are comfy. The waters are calm here situated between the pitons.

I'm an avid snorkeler and snorkel all over the Caribbean. This has got to be the most amazing place to go and it's right there from the beach. Go to the right-hand side and walk in (be careful, there are lots of rocks). Snorkel up...More

We followed the maps directions to Piton Bat and ended up at a gate controlled by the Viceroy. We were told we had to pay $50 per person but it included food in their bar/restaurants, shuttle and beach access. We had Mini TAPAS for lunch...More

We stayed at Stonefield right up the road and took free shuttle down to beach for the day, one of my favorite days of my stay. I stayed here back in mid-90's when it was the Jalousie Plantation resort. They didn't have the beach back...More

We read beforehand that they would make it difficult to get to the beach and they definitely did! We had a private driver for the day who brought us to the entrance. They wont let any drivers pass to get to the beach unless you...More

The $50 per head access fee is outrageous as everyone says and you can skip it in your own boat or car. However arriving in a taxi, you will pay this. The fee counts towards a restaurant credit and the food there is very good....More

The snorkeling here was great if a bit crowded. We saw a ton of cuttlefish which are one of my personal favorites. We had ten in a line at one point and many many others. There were lots of other fish as well. When we...More

Also known as Sugar beach. If you have the choice - skip it. Go to Anse Mamin instead (which is a short walk from crowded with people and boat traffic Anse Chastenet). The view of the sea is always blocked by parked yahts and super...More

Not that we saw. Most of the beach is taken up by the resort, the public is restricted to a very small stretch at the one end. There were bathrooms/showers, but we weren't looking for lockers so can't say for sure.
