Hard to find good restaurants, dirty beaches. Would say better stay close to Las Terrenas where you have great beaches and wonderful restaurants.

This is a must see. From mid-January, there are whales, huge, not rushing and graceful. It will remain in your memory for a long time!

We stayed at the LBPS. From the beach and balcony there were million dollar views. From the one cruise ship that transited the channel to catamarans and tall ships, with mountains across the bay. What an amazing experience to see whales from shore. If traveling...More
