Nice easy beach to access, not always the case in some parts of the island. The team who sell the loungers grab you as soon as you step on the beach. We paid $30 BDS for 2 loungers and an umbrella. The beach feels safe...More

We visited Carlisle Bay with Eco Dive Barbados - saw a lot of snorkelers, but if you are a diver you should definitely consider going beyond the quick snorkel. There are so many interesting wrecks, and lots of underwater wildlife (including seahorses). Worth the visit.

Clean and big. The water is what you dream and read abut. The shipwrecks to snorkel over are a huge bonus. Thousands of fish to see. Highly recommend spend several hours on this beach

Came here and the beach was very easy to get into as it’s just sands where as many other beaches around Barbados have cobble as your getting into the sea and can make you look like your dodging crabs trying not to hurt feet lmao...More

This is a lovely clean beach. It was beautiful early in a morning around 6/7 watching the horses being bathed. Sunday morning is the best day to go as there are a lot more horses.

We thought Carlisle Bay was very similar to the rest of the port areas of Barbados... beautiful! The water is very blue and not mucky. We were in the water snorkeling so have a unique perspective of course. We saw swam with some turtles at...More

Not really. It was not busy when we went during the week. It may be busier on weekends as most people have the weekends off.

Get a taxi or the reggae bus to the bay and there are turtle boats every hour or there abouts for 20 bucks. You get to see the turtles and snorkel on a ship wreck, they can provide the gear also.
