Nelson;s combines a great historical story- i.e. slaves,shanghai workers, indentured servants and soldiers built and maintained one of the key locations for the British Navy and... it is breathtakingly beautiful especially when you climb to the top and look down into the yard.

Enjoyed our visit to Nelsons Dockyard. The fish in the harbour are huge. A good place to have a wander back in time and forget whats going on in the world.

We rented a car and decided to visit the spot . They only accept cash there was an atm machine inside which you can withdraw money it but charges 10 dollars fee. The guide was very friendly and took us around to show the nearby...More

Paid 10$ us entrance and it was just as colonial as I imagined...cannons and a red telephone box..lots of museums, bars and restaurants as well as many gorgeous boats..it was nice to walk around...Very Hot 34degrees...

Nelson dockyard the $8 admission fee includes admission to Shirley heights plenty of taxis out side will take you up there most will pick you up and bring back at up at time you want ( pay on pick up ) please bear in mind... More

The day we went everything was closed, even the museum... But we visited a local shop just couple minutes from nelsons dockyard which had beautiful painting and essential oils .
