Just off Hwy 191 a few miles north of Jackson. There are 2 barns that have a great old ‘look’. The best advice is to drive past the parking area and use your telephoto lens to zoom in, compressing the background will make the Tetons...More

Land owned and worked by the Mormons years ago. Barns that have appeared in many commercials and photographs. The back drop is the Grand Tetons. Rockefeller Jr purchased land and donated to parks.

Grant Teton Mountains are spectacular by themselves but sometimes you want other photographic compostions where you can get more perspective views. Therefore, we drove over to Mormon Row (an actual road named Mormon Row with homesteads) off of Antlers Flat Road. Past professionally taken photos...More

These historic buildings stand out from the surrounding plains with the fantastastic backdrop of the Teton Mountains. They form an important part in the history of the area and the views are in all the history textbooks relating to the opening up of "The American...More

We stopped here while visiting the Tetons. The stop was recommended from a driving app we used “Gypsy Guide” (which I highly recommend). The houses provide a unique focal point to take a photo in front of the mountains. There is an outhouse too. Something...More

This is pretty cool. I am a lover of history and can imagine people living a working in these now abandoned structures. The back drop is gorgeous and a place often professionally photographed.

Well worth the stop just for the awesome photos! Get there early or late in the day to avoid the crowds.

Beautiful site that shows a glimpse of pioneer life. The barns are mega photogenic against the mountains. Go before 10 to avoid the busloads.

Easy to get, no hiking involved, but this can cause it to get very busy at peak times of the day ... the "barn" is the most famous picture , but with a little effort , the other buildings offer great and less "seen" pictures...More

No issues. Unless it is raining heavy. The buildings are very close to the road. Walkable.

You are correct on the unpaved roads and no cars...fortunately, the drivable roads come close enough and have a parking area which is a short (maybe a 100 feet) from good viewing angles. A walkable road continues past the... More
