Center of activity in the GCNP. Plenty of parking for the several restaurants, museums, inns and gift shops. Did not spend a ton of time here but it looked like it wouldn’t be an interesting and convenient place to stay next time we go.

When walking along the rim at the G C Village you have the opportunity to stroll, stop and gaze and majesty, pick up a snack or a gift, or have a delightful meal --- all within minutes of the rim.

Limited and expensive food options as well as the expensive room options and constant crowds turn this stay at the rim into an overall disappointment. The enchantment of past visits is gone. The elk no longer show up, the menus at the overpriced restaurants have...More
