This is a hot spring and minerals crusting that is covers a natural bridge. The colors are worth photographing, There is an old Russian built spa there, which is now deserted. Nothing much else to look at here. Shops nearby sell tourist trinkets

This bridge is quite unique and the history around it makes it even more special. It’s a quick stop from the trip to Aconcagua, worthy and good to buy some local souvenirs.

The day outing was great fun for all. The mountin drive was very sienic, and learning about the history of the region was interesting as well. The gift shops had a large selection of goods and the food was great and reasonably priced as well.

Unfortunately one cannot cross the bridge however it is still a good place to visit. Also a hostel here to stay, old railway station, touristy shops selling trinkets and the ruins of a 5 star hotel near the church that was hit by an avalanche.

Arch formed by glaciers and the hot springs. The water that flows from the hot springs is extremely rich in mineral content, to the point that petrify small objects in a layer of minerals.

A significant bus ride outside of the city center, but full of gorgeous views. Upon arrival the mountains are incredible, there are many local venders, and the site itself is amazing. That being said I spent maybe an hour here. You could eat and drink...More
