An amazing cruise to beautiful lake Saimaa to see Saimaa ringed seals in the end of May. We were lucky to see 4 seals in our private cruise!! Arto is very, very friendly and helpful guide who can share lots of information of Saimaa ringed seals and environment in Saimaa.
I strongly recommend to choose LakelandGTE activities!

We had a lovely experience cruising with Arto. He is knowledgeable of the history of Saimaa and its surroundings, we enjoyed the stories he shared as well as the beautiful accordion performance by him. It was so relaxing to just enjoy scenery of Saimaa. The onboard coffee & snack were a nice touch. We also really appreciate the details he kindly provided us to find him on a very busy day at the harbor and the additional info such as the market and WC. We recommend his service highly.

Had a great experience in the small-group cruise. It was personalized and felt much better than the cruise on the bigger boats in Lake Saimaa. Listening to live music, hearing stories about the lake, watching seal and the eagle were all really nice.

I loved the atmosphere, and the accordion music on our coffee break gave the perfect mid-summer feeling. The weather was superb too. We saw an osprey nest but unfortunately not any Saimaa seals. The Captain said seals are most likely to be seen in early summer or late spring so for that we were a bit late.

Great overall experience! The boat is super quiet and you travel almost water-level. We got see Saimaa ringed seal and osprey, among others. Perfect weather during our trip. Sooo relaxing!

3 hours seal watching experience was great , time just flew initially we didn’t see seals but last one hour was very exciting , we saw seals multiple times.Arto was great , his experience speaks through the stories and the pictures we saw . Arranging and coordination for the tour was very easy with Arto. The snacks was very nice and my 6 year old son got to even be captain for some time .

What an amazing trip! Our guide was so warm, funny and entertaining. We learnt a lot about lake Saimaa's history. We were also offered coffee, tea and pulla in the middle of the lake. This cruise was definitely a highlight of our trip.

An enjoyable cruise in the middle of the beautiful sceneries of Lake Saimaa and its archipelago. No dull moments, but easy and comfortable atmosphere with the captain telling entertaining stories about different local and Finnish themes. And in many different languages, too! Also, the solar-powered boat is eco-friendly.

We had the tour for the seul observation. It was wonderful the night was perfect and the colors amazing. However we havent sea any seal but its wildlife. Our guide Arto was very Nice and gave us many informations about seal and the lake. And speak many languages so its very easy.

The cruise was really relaxing and intresting. Arto is wonderfull guide and he have a lot information about Saimaa nature and history. The storycruise was suitable also for families with smaller kids because it took abit more than one hour.
