Fantastic experience, HIGHLY recommend and already wish to come back again. We went as a group of three, and had such an amazing time floating around, and playing and jumping on ice. Arto is an exceptional guide, he explained everything very well and helped us with whatever was needed, as well as with great pictures and warm tea after. The views with sunset were beautiful and the overall experience was just so extremely enjoyable.

It’s a super fun and interesting activity, to learn finishing in Saimaa lake in October, with Ruska view, guided by Arto! I would highly recommend to people who travel to Finland and want to learn a bit deeper about Finland nature, Finnish people, and Finnish ethics on top of a fishing skill and experience in Finnish largest lake Saimaa. Arto and Jarmo are super! They are professional, patient, friendly and good at teaching and organizing. They are humorous as well, making the trip even more enjoyable! We spent the 3 hours so happily that a 3.6kg pike joined us!

Amazing tour on a ecofriendly, full electric boat that allowed easy talk with the skipper and passegers and to have a chance to approach the seals without disturbing them. The skipper knows really well the history, tradition, culture and the lake itself and he is really kind. A nice cup of tea or coffee with some good live music is the nicest conclusion of this stunning trip. Highly recommended!

The experience in ecoboat was incredibile, really beautiful! Captain Arto was really nice, he talked us about finnish stories and curiosity about lake Saimaa and the Seal. He offered us a delicious coffee break with coffee, hot tea, juice for children and Pulla (typical finish sweet). All was perfect!!!! Kiitos captain Arto

Arto was an excellent guide and kindly answered all our questions about Saimaa Lake, the seals and the Finnish lifestyle in general. The boat was super comfortable, cozy and well prepared for the rain. He offered us hot coffee, tea, sweets and sole folk music with his accordion 🎵 Super recommended, one of our best experiences in Finland so far. Don't think it twice and book your tour with Arto!!

It was my first solotravel holiday and I was little bit nervous to go by myself. Arto was so nice and funny that it was easy for me to relax on a boat eventually. There were some foreign travelers, so Arto did the tour with english, and that was fine for me. Arto's stories were interesting and he played some music with his instrument. We all got some binoculars to see birds nest. There were also some coffee, tee and buns to eat. Thank you, maybe someday I'm coming back to the beautiful Saimaa!

We were looking for a tour at Saimaa lake suitable for families with small children and ended up with a 90 minute tour with Arto. Arto is very knowledgeable and a great host. He played wonderful music for us while we enjoyed coffee, cake and the beautiful scenery. Even without seal sightings a memorable excursion for everyone. We can highly recommend the trip, also with young kids!
