- Scenic6194540 contributionsSanta experience in LaplandAmazing trip to Lapland the scenery was amazing and the organisers/elves had everything planned out for us a bus waiting to take us to all the events ie husky sleigh rides, snowmobile rides and the elves village we also went to decorate cookies with mrs Claus and the elves and a sleigh ride through the forest to find Santa in his house truly amazing experience,The 4day trip was very special our accommodations were brilliant everything you could need and all the outdoor suits and boots were included probably a once in a lifetime experience but definitely worth it,Written 8 February 2025
- J5789FBandrzejb0 contributionsBUS tour for £700Stay away from this company. See below what they have offered us for £700. SO far they keep responding (like on Trustpilot) that someone will be in touch. And someone is then in touch to... tell you that all was fine and great. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. See below and reflect if you wanted to purchase anything from them. Honestly I have never dealt with such arogant company in total denial of their scam service. It was effectively a theft of our money. 5 hour bus tour for over £700!!! We were effectively sold a 5 hour bus tour with a short break for a 5 min husky ride around the lake! Below a detailed reason why we feel totally dissatisfied and and currently seeking full refund for our terrible experience: 1. Misleading Title and Tour Description: The tour was marketed as a "Husky Safari," but this was far from accurate. A "safari" cannot be defined as a 5-minute ride around a lake at a husky farm. This was the entirety of the experience, which was nowhere near what we were expecting. 2. Ride Duration Mismatch: The advertisement stated that we would enjoy a 20- or 30-minute husky ride. However, the actual ride was only a 5-minute loop around a frozen lake, which is a significant deviation from what was promised. 3. Inconsistent Communication: On December 30, we received a message from the "Easy Travel Team" via WhatsApp indicating the safari would take place at a farm due to low snow conditions and that we would return around 14:15. However, when we spoke to our guide, we were told that the safari always takes place on a farm, contrary to what was communicated to us. This discrepancy led to confusion and disappointment. 4. Lack of Proper Guidance: The advertisement mentioned “guidance services,” but our guide provided no guidance during the tour. This led to confusion and disorganization, leaving us unsure of the schedule and the itinerary throughout the tour and its various hiccups. 5. Inaccurate Tour Timing: The tour was advertised as lasting 2 hours, with a start time around 11:00 am and an end time around 2:15 pm. In reality, we were picked up at 10:45 am, arrived at the farm at 12:30 pm, and only returned to Rovaniemi at 3:30 pm. The actual time spent on the tour was drastically longer than anticipated, which disrupted our plans for the afternoon. 6. Rude Onsite Team: Upon arrival at the farm, there was a visible disagreement between the hosts and our guide, which resulted in us being asked to remain on the bus for an additional 45 minutes. This delay was frustrating, as we were unable to stretch our legs or explore the area while we waited. At one point, we were told by our "guide" we could leave the bus. My 84 year old mother stepped off the bus and was then yelled at by Erika (the on site host) to get back on the bus. I then intervened the conversation to relay we are frustrated and have been waiting and was yelled by Erika. Erika then told the driver to lock the bus door so no one could leave. 7. Short and Rushed Experience: When the ride finally began, it lasted only 5 minutes. The experience felt rushed, and at one point, we were asked to make way for another group in a hurry. I must add that my father who is 87 year old, and can’t stand for long periods, and I waited patiently for our turn and felt if anything we should have been one of the first to be accommodated. This added to the frustration. Moreover, half the group did not receive any explanation about raising huskies, which was another advertised aspect of the tour. 8. Unpleasant Refreshment Setup: The entry to the tent was icy and hazardous. The advertised "hot berry juice, coffee, tea with cookies" was served in a cramped, smoky tent with space for only a few people. The other tent was so smoky it could not be entered. The cookies were hard and difficult to eat. The single toilet provided was unpleasant—there was no running water, and it had an overpowering odour. 9. Disruptions to Our Plans: Due to the extensive delays, we returned to Rovaniemi only at 3:30 pm, which caused us to miss out on our planned activities for the afternoon. This experience was not only disappointing but also misleading. In total, we spent nearly 5 hours mostly sitting on the bus, with just 5 minutes of husky interaction, no tour guidance or coordination, and dealing with rude farm hosts—all for a cost of over £700! It is an understatement to say we feel incredibly let down by the entire experience. This trip was meant to be a highlight of our family holiday, a special experience that we had been looking forward to – a trip we researched thoroughly and hand picked due to the safari description.Written 7 February 2025

He explained everything to us in details ranging from time and place to meet to Santa Claus Village history. this tour included "to meet Santa" since tickets are required for now ofr this event. the only thing I wish this tour can do more is to take tourists to some other places in Rovaniemi.Written 7 January 2025

- D3435BSlouisem0 contributionsActual activities great; but company not - be very wary of their trusting their timings!!Both sites clearly cared very well for the welfare of their animals. Reindeer place super well organised, slickly run (without us ever feeling rushed), fun and informative guide who's a 4th generation reindeer farmer. Husky visit also lovely, well organised by the owner who clearly absolutely loves her dogs; but more rushed (see below). Confirmation and communication beforehand about pick-up point/time etc. was clear. It all boded well. My principal concern is Easy Travel's organisation of the trip. Supposed to start at 0930, and with a stated running time of 2.5 - 3 hours (their own website) it was reasonable for us to expect to be back in Rovaniemi somewhere around 1300. This was important to us as we intended to have lunch in town, maybe catch a bit more at Arktikum before heading out to the airport for our flight home (not til 1800, we left a very healthy margin of error). I'd assumed we'd go straight from the reindeer location to the huskies location. BIG mistake. After visiting the reindeeer place, we went back into Rovaniemi to drop off some people. Then we spent the next 50 mins stuck in the coach as it drove round Rovaniemi picking up other passengers. We then drove back out of Rovaniemi again for 45 minutes to reach the huskies location. We didn't even arrive there until after the time we should have been in Rovaniemi! I really felt for the families with young children, stuck on the bus for over an hour and a half. It felt very rushed at the huskies location as the well-meaning and friendly Easy Travel tour guide tried to herd us (best word I can use) through the two main activities before the other large tour group which arrived shortly after us. Simple things which could have been organised in advance (like dividing our group into 4s for the husky sleigh ride) ended up slightly chaotic as the husky place woman was left to do this on her own (maybe the Easy Travel guide could have helped??). Then back on the bus to head back to Rovaniemi. By this point it was clear we wouldn't be back in town til around 1500. 20 minutes or so either way I could have understood. *Two hours late*?! THAT IS NOT OKAY! People on that coach would have had plans for the rest of the day. I feel it's down to a lack of professional planning and organisation on the part of the company, and I feel it's a failure on their part to care enough about their customers to communicate effectively with them. Even if they had to make last minute changes (I see from the reviews that this is not the first time it has happened), the Easy Travel guide should have informed everyone at the outset. (She did seem to be talking through the schedule at one point, but was speaking too quitely for us halfway down the bus to hear. If she did mention the much later finish time, we didn't hear). For us, we ended up having to get off at Santa Claus Park and get the bus from there straight to the airport; we couldn't risk staying on the bus into town then riding round for 45 minutes again whilst trying to work out which of its (doubtless many) stops would be best. So our plans for a relaxed meal and a bit more pottering around town went out of the window; a disappointing and slightly stressed end to what - with better organisation & communication - could have been a lovely and seamless trip. If you put timings on your website they need to be reasonably accurate, because people rely on them. Had we known in advance how the timings were actually going to work, we would not have booked this tripWritten 2 January 2025

- mtaamcd0 contributionsReindeer experience great, but company wasnt. The reindeer experience was wonderful, but I would never recommend this company! Upon boarding bus we were told we were on a tight schedule to make husky ride. However, after reindeer experience we spent over an hour dropping off people and picking up new folks from around town. Then drove over 45 minutes for the husky to cancel the tour because we were so late. So we wasted an entire vacation day riding around on a bus and now all husky tours are full! This was the ONE experience we wanted most and now missing out the whole trip! Definitely go with another more reputable company.Written 28 December 2024
- ecywr0 contributionsTour was cancelled last min (on the way!!)The worst experience ever!!!! the bus for pick up arrived 30mins late, we were waiting outdoor in the cold. After 1 hour drive in the bus out of the city, the tour guide announced the husky farm was fully booked and our tour was simply cancelled. We were sent back to Rovaniemi. There was absolutely no compensation of any kind. We wasted half a day for nothing and the kids were very disappointing. We wrote the customer service and there was so reply.Written 28 December 2024
- mbrun120 contributionsBeautiful Lappish experienceWhere to begin?! This was a perfectly organised experience where we had the opportunity to both ride and drive husky-led sleds before meeting dozens of beautiful and friendly dogs. Following this, it was a ~20mn drive to the reindeer farm, where we shared a sled between 2 of us and were pulled by a reindeer around a frozen lake. We were then lucky enough to spend some time with a Saami woman who shared elements of her culture - including folk songs and traditional dress - with us. These were a fantastic few hours and I could not recommend them more.Written 22 December 2024

This was just amazing!
Communication with the tour company was great and pick-up arranged no problem.
We did the husky sled-ride first, which was really great and something I would totally recommend you do on a Lapland holiday. After our sled ride, we were able to spend time with all the huskies, who were very playful & affectionate! They were so cute. We even met a 4 month old puppy!
We then spent time with the husky owners in their wooden cabin, hearing stories from them & enjoying eating/drinking homemade Finnish treats.
At no point did this excursion feel rushed, we were there for a good couple of hours. It is definitely something we would do again! My 9 & 7 year olds loved it, as did the adults!

Get your Guide were the provider for our Sirkka: Husky Sled Ride in Levi. Eleanor Husky was our contact. My two boys enjoyed the ride, however I was disappointed to be told the day before, upon trying to gain pick up confirmation, that our time slot would be 9 am instead of 10am. It didn't seem to matter that it was pre booked with booking confirmation for 10am. We were basically told 9am or nothing.
We were picked up from our accommodation by a very up beat guide and taken to the elf village. The small husky business is positioned just behind the village.
We paid for a 5km ride, which I expected to last 30min. Our ride lasted approximately 20min, before heading back and left to see the husky in their cages and passed a hot herbal tea, before the experience was over . I expected more for the money we paid.
The positives: it was a one of experience
Negative: Cost did not match expectations.

We were picked up from the tourist office for a short minibus ride to the husky paddock. 6km ride with the team - 4 dogs Led our sled. We were able to swap drivers half way round. Deep snow but the dogs were amazing and took us round. Super team to answer our questions over a hot juice at the end with the dogs still running about in the paddock area. The little puppies were adorable too. This was my first ever husky ride and was amazing. Thanks to all the team for making us so welcome and ensuring we had a lovely time - despite the cold!

Serious safety incident
We booked our husky ride trip which got cancelled a day before. We then got put on another husky trip which was nothing like what we had originally Booked. We had to drive our own sledge with very young children. No safety garments such as helmets provided. A rushed 5 minute explanation on how to manoeuvre sledge. It wasn’t adequate, Resulting in my sledge turning over and crashing with 2 young children in it & myself sustaining broken ribs. A total rip off for the amount of time we had here. Do not book this trip!!

Unfortunately not as expected and not worth the money! We had looked forward to a nice husky tour in a small, personal setting and time with the huskies. However, it was rather mass processing! We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the husky farm. Once there, we were led around the grounds in a large group, which was more like a zoo or animal shelter. The dogs were all housed in, in my opinion, much too small enclosures. You could only look at them through the fence. This took up most of the tour. After that we went to the sleds. The huskies that did the sledding were already ready at a total of 4 sleds with drivers. Our group was divided into several small groups of 2 and 3 and we had to wait our turn. The sled ride itself went only !!4 minutes!!! Although in the description for the 2 km ride is stated that it takes about 15 minutes!!! We are really very disappointed by this. As soon as you sat in the sled it was already over again. Even after that there was no way to pet the sled huskies or play with them or just look at them in peace. We were then allowed to drink a juice in the hut and then we had to leave again. We were only there for a total of 1 hour. The description on Tripadvisor states 2 hrs. It was really very disappointing and we would NOT recommend it.

Dear Laura,
We offer the group tour of 2 km husky safari, that includes 2km sledge ride, guiding about the huskies, pick up and drop off services, as well as the hot drink. You have driven in the sledge for the 2 km safari, but the huskies run fast, about 25km/h in good weather conditions, so on this day the tour probably looked shorter. If you would like to enjoy a longer ride, we offer a 5 km safari.
As long with the huskies (there are always huskies to pet in the park), you were able to see arctic and red foxes, as well as the wolfdog-husky breed.
Our tour is meant to be up to 2h, including the pickup time from Levi area.
Best Regards,
Elena

Too much money for such a short time. It was only a 10 minute drive, then you could see how the dogs live.
For this duration I feel it is an absolute rip-off for the sum

Dear Lisa,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations.
The 2 km husky ride typically takes between 7-12 minutes, depending on weather and trail conditions. In addition to the sled ride, the experience also includes a guided tour of the husky farm and a hot drink, as listed on our website. All of those make up the price of the tour.
For those looking for a longer sled ride, we also offer 5 km tours, where the ride lasts longer. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable and safe experience for all guests, ensuring their comfort in the Arctic conditions.
We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
Kind regards,
Nadia

Fabulous experience to do absolutely. Our children (5 and 8 years old) loved it and so did we. 5km is enough for them. Full of memories and even more thanks to the time after the walk being able to caress the little puppies.
