He is what made the tour even better than what it was. Don`t get me wrong for the money we spent it was well worth it! Our entire family had a blast. The sight seeing, the snorkeling, the shrimp lunch, the stories that Maya told us EVERYTHING!!! Whatever you do, BOOK THIS TOUR AT THE BEGINNING OF YOUR VACATION!!!! That way you`ll get a lot of information about the island so you can pick and choose where you would like to go back and spend more time.Written 7 September 2019
- trevo220 contributionsWe had so much fun!Our tour guide / driver was absolutley amazing! Not only did we have a jampacked day we had a blast while doing doing it. I would say my favorite part would be snorkling and seeing turtles. A huge thank you to Tony our driver and for making our Hawaiian vacation memorable!Written 6 September 2019
- Shawn N0 contributionsDo Not Do This ExcursionThis trip is the opposite of what was advertised. We were told we’d get to hike the crater, which we didn’t. While the tour guide was friendly, we had short stops at each location and can barely say we got to experience them. We tried calling the company after to voice our concerns and were met with rude customer service and the promise of a returned call from the manager that never came. I’d highly recommend visiting each place listed on this excursion on your own and at your own leisure- that’s the only way you’ll get to enjoy them.Written 5 September 2019

- denisthemenace710 contributionsThe Best Part of Our Hawaii TripWe just completed this tour earlier today, and I've never been so inspired to write a review before. I'm new to Tripadvisor, but I created an account just so I could share my thoughts about this awesome experience. The tour itself was just as advertised with tons of stops all around the Island of Oahu... We got picked up on time at 7:00am from the Aston hotel and from there began an all day adventure that had us back to our hotel around 5:00pm... It was a full day, but it flew by because the whole bus was having so much fun. It's not just WHAT we did on the tour, but HOW and WHO that was the real difference maker in our experience. My wife and I met three awesome couples on the tour... From Canada, California, and Australia. We all exchanged info and have dinner plans tomorrow night in Waikiki. The people that run this tour are special and are the most genuine embodiment of "the Aloha spirit" that we have experienced since we arrived. From the reservation staff, to the tour guide, driver, and the folks we met along the way... The vibe was positive, uplifting, high energy, and genuine. Uncle Tony and Miah went out of their way to make sure that everyone was having the time of their lives. They were funny, told stories about Hawaii, made us do the hula and talk to one another... They played the ukulele and sang songs three times throughout the day... Somehow, Miah (sp?) remembered every single persons name on the bus... These guys are the real deal. The weather was beautiful, the water was crystal clear, we saw about 6 sea turtles, hit all of the important hot spots around the island. They kept feeding us... We got Kona coffee in the morning with these unreal purple donuts that are made of Tarro from Hawaii. They also had bottled water and those little bags of chips for snacks. Then we went to the macadamia nut farm where we sampled all of the flavors for free and even got to crack open our own nuts while we hung out with a bunch of Samoan Chiefs. I still can't believe how much fun we had... We also stopped at an exotic fruit stand for cold coconut and a bunch of fruits that I've never even heard of before. We kept eating... From there it was off to the Kahuku Shrimp farms where we got Garlic Butter shrimp that are raised right there on the property. The cost of the shrimp was separate, but totally worth it. There's so much to say about this experience... I can't believe how much we fit into one day. We saw sea turtles on the beach and while snorkeling that were feasting on sea weed that was growing on the rocks. The photo opportunities were everywhere, we must've taken a hundred pictures. I will attach some of them, it looks like I can do that. Honestly, I can't believe that we only paid $65 for this... I've taken $150 tours in Mexico that don't even begin to compare to the level of quality and quantity that we got from these guys. I don't know how they do it, but keep it up guys! We will be back and will let our neighbors know about the tour too... They are planning a trip next month. Anyway, my wife is giving me the look, we're about to go continue the party in Waikiki... Gonna sleep really well tonight. I hope I've managed to convey how fantastic this experience was. If you're thinking about going, then it's an absolute no brainer... Book it Danno. Thank you so much Uncle Tony, Miah, and all the cousins that we met today. We will be back and hope you have even more tours in the future. Chee Whoo! Aloha, Denis & LizWritten 1 September 2019

It was myself, hubby and our 4 kids (10,12,14,16). Expensive, (even with Groupon),We got picked up and Continued for 45 min to pick up others. We were rushed through sites like the macadamia nut visit, given an hour to snorkel at “turtle bay” which you can’t swim Because it’s all rocky. Turtles exist and best to see from land. And our bus didn’t even have snorkel gear. We had to
Wait 20minutes for another bus to arrive that had then! HOWEVER we spent plenty of time at the stupid strip mall “go buy stuff. On multiple occasions!)
Everything is cash only. I was told lunch was included and then we were charged $14/playe for Cold food. My coconut shrimp=cold and nasty Because it was not Even like warm. For kids I’d buy subway (at the stop they
Two you to get cash. It’s cheaper and they’ll enjoy it more).
It was disappointing because we would pull to a wayside lookout- get off bus and take a picture and get back on and they called that a stop. We were rushed only to be told we were ahead of schedule so we gor a full tour of Bingham Young University (church of Laterday Saints/Mormon) For 25 minutes. Who cares about that? I’d rather have spend More time elsewhere. Oh- and of
The 16 we only actually a topped at 5-6. We Sedona didn’t get what we were told...donuts? Didn’t exist.
At the end, after the dole Plantation we were told it was straight home...nope. Another stop at a coffee place for 10 Minutes.
Our tour guide was mediocre. Said “Kay” or “okay” every single sentence and talk non stop. I wish we had not already booked through them for Our “Pearl Harbor and city tour”. Go elsewhere!

We had a great day with Kanamu. Kanamu was a fantastic tour guide with a wealth of knowledge, although the water at turtle bay was a little unclear we still managed to see turtles! We managed to stop at a lot of different places on the island and would highly recommend this tour. Thanks Kanamu!

I was a bit skeptical when I saw the description of the tour. There was a lot packed into one day. But Kanamu, our guide, never made us feel rushed. She was a great guide, full of historical knowledge and lots of personal anecdotes. We are really glad we went. We were able to make future plans during our stay to revisit some of the places we went to spend more time there. I would recommend this tour of Oahu for anyone looking for a way to see a lot of highlights of the island with a very informative guide. And you won't have to drive yourself!

I had the opportunity to go on a Circle Island Tour with the wonderful guide Kanamu. She was so pleasant and made it a point to learn everyone’s name and a little about them as she took the time to tell us about her and share with us about the beautiful island of Oahu. I came with my husband, sister and two young children 1 and 3 1/2 and we felt Ohana. She was great. I would recommend doing it at the beginning of your trip instead of near the end that way you have time to go back and see some of the wonderful places that she talks about but we didn’t have time to stop at. It was well with the money and the time you won’t be disappointed.

As a team, Aka & Victor made this trip memorable by giving my family and I a courteous, heartfelt, educational experience filled with laughter. There was never a dull moment, and guests were awake the entire tour bus ride eager to learn the rich history of Hawaii. Not only learning the facts of the island, it was a great reminder to spread the good news of love, unity and how much peace it can bring to the world if WE all come together in harmony🫶I would recommend this tour company without a doubt, worth every penny, time well spent, memories made & so much more!!

The tour itself was amazing! Aka gave us an authentic experience that mixed history with storytelling of his personal life on the islands. He made all of us feel welcome and like family from the very beginning. He is extremely knowledgeable and never hesitated to answer any questions we had.
The bus tour took us to more places than we’re on the itinerary I saw and provided a good amount of time for photos and enjoying the unique aspects of each stop. The tour ended up being longer than specified, but that allowed us to fully appreciate and enjoy each stop. The local elements with ties to the Nui company really added to the overall experience as well. Tony was a great driver as well!
The only reason I am giving this a 4/5 is because of the customer service when trying to book. If you need to call to make a reservation, the customer service is not great. My husband called and was told that there might not be room for the two of us on the day we had hoped. We were told he would receive a text with confirmation that never came. When I tried calling all of my calls went straight to voicemail and I never received a phone call after leaving a call back number.

This tour is wonderful. Our guide Jason was very well informed about the culture and different areas of the island. He also knew exactly where we would be able to see turtles, and he was correct. We thought that lunch was included in the price of the tour, however that wasn’t the case, so be prepared to pay about $18 a plate for lunch. We didn’t get to go to the coffee farm, because of construction, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience of the trip.
This tour definitely makes me want to come back to explore more in depth the areas of the island that we saw.

Kanamu was our guide for this tour and she was amazing. Our day was filled with history and interesting facts about Hawaii and Hawaiian culture. Kanamu shared many personal anecdotes and definitely made us feel part of her ohana. There were many stops along our trip, many opportunities to take some great pictures. This was our group's first time on Oahu and this tour gave us a great chance to explore the island. I would definitely recommend this tour to first time visitors and make sure to ask for Kanamu!

The tour guide was pretty caring and knowledgeable about Oahu and Hawaii in general. He gave lots of interesting facts about them. We stopped at lots of lookout spots along the way to the North shore to take pictures and hang out. The lunch (not included in the tour cost) was okay for the price. The snorkeling place has some fish but can't compare to Hanauma bay. If you walk along the beach to the left and get lucky, you might actually see some turtles. Keep walking to the left and you will get to a beach that has lots of shells, take some time to collect them. A Hawaiian lady gave me some really nice shells :). The stop at Dove planation was okay since we didn't have time to check out the plantation.
Overall, it's a pretty decent tour. One downside was we stopped at many of gift shops, but maybe that's the price of using free bathrooms...

We spent a lot of time just sitting on a bus, not much time at the activities and when snorkling, the water was murky, snorkles provided were fogging up quickly too. The macadamia farm was at the same place as snorkling so we didn't experience this part. The pineapple farm part (like the macadamia farm etc) we were just taken to the souvenir shops. This was sold to us as a $199 trip discounted to $99 per person for 5 people but it ended up costing $520. Upon looking at the price being $108 this was misrepresented to us.

Where there lockers or a place to secure purses, or purchases made prior to snorkeling? If not, what did you all do with your bags, cash, phones while snorkeling?
anyone bring phone to take pic’s while snorkeling? ( recommendations on what water tight bag to get?
Thanks

Hi, there was no lockers or anywhere to secure your purses, but they stayed on the bus and we had no issues the bus driver either locks the bus or stays on the bus. Nothing came up missing from anyone on the bus. I left everything on there without an issue. Hope this helps.

Yes, there is a pick up location and when you book, you should receive a follow up email or text with the pick up time/window..
Hi! Where can I see a list of pick up times? I chose Hilton Waikiki Beach as my pickup point during checkout but I cant find information on when to be there for pickup?

Hi, you need to contact the company as they only have a few designated pick up and drop off points. The Twin is possibly the closest in Waikiki

Do we need to have certain shoes on for snorkeling? Should we have water shoes or would Crocs work?
No shoes needed but crocs should work just fine. Water shoes are great too. The area you’ll be snorkeling is mostly clear beach with relatively minimal coral. That also means relatively fewer fish to see. Lots of tourists but still nice but I didn’t see anything.
We were inspired by the trio to return the following day to adjacent beaches which had more coral and shoes were needed there. TONS of tropical fish in/around the coral areas, which are super sharp so shoes a must.
Hi! I was wondering what time this tour goes to approximately?

it's late afternoon. It all depends on where you are in the drop-off schedule. We were the last couple to be dropped off, so it was a little later for us.
