Maria was our host for our private tour. We originally planned to rent a car to tour the island on our own. But given the unavailability of rental cars at reasonable prices, a private tour became the perfect alternative. Maria picked us up at our hotel in a luxury SUV which was plenty spacious for the two of us. Our tour started with a few stops at the more popular beaches of Waikiki. We then charted a whirlwind, but thoughtful 6-hour tour of the entire island. We chose to do a sampler platter of all the island had to offer. Maria was knowledgeable about all of the obvious highlights that were no doubt a part of all of the larger tour experiences. She creatively interspersed off the beaten path routes and stops to give us a better sense of how the locals live and love the island. We saw the Blow Hole, sea turtles, the beautiful and less crowded beaches, all while enjoying Maria’s narration of island history and more recent gossip. We would highly recommend this more intimate experience for couples or small groups of family and friends.

Let's start with Daniel, when I first called back in April 2021 to book the tour he was very helpful and helped us arrange private tour for 2 full days 9am-3pm. Once we arrive in Oahu, we were promptly contacted by local staff that our tour was ready to go the next day at 9am and our tour guide will meet us in front of our hotel. Our tour guide Cameron was amazing, we were not sure what to expect with 2 little ones. But Cameron from the beginning made us feel very comfortable and was very professional. He grew on us very soon our kids were calling him "uncle Cameron". His local knowledge was extensive and he guides us to view many areas so we don't waste time visiting tourist attractions and waste time in line or waste time in general at place you are forced to view if you are with a large group. From swimming in the clear sandy beaches off North Shore to Dole Plantation we were efficient and enjoyed all the great local eateries Hawaiians enjoy. We are grateful we met Cameron and hope to be back soon in Hawaii. Thank you Uncle Cameron!!

Arriving in Waikiki after 26 hours traveling from Germany we started next morning a superb amazing tour with our guide Christine from our hotel at Waikiki beach. She showed us the main spots around the Island to give us newbies in Hawaii a very first impression with a lot of historical background. She did a great job! No rushing, very professional and contemporary she showed us Waikiki, the old swimming sea-side pool, Diamant Head, various very nice beaches, driving us all around the Island to the Byodo Temple, a special request of us, the turtle beach, cool food truck places and where the best shrimps are served - delicious! And all the way up to the very top of the Island, coffee plants and back to the hotel. It was a really informative and fabolous tours that kept us fully awake each second - not easy but true. Next day we had a 2nd tour planned so read the next review coming....

We had a fabulous experience on this informative and super well paced tour of the island. I didn’t know what to expect but our guide Santiago was such a gracious and helpful host and immediately made us feel at ease. Santiago offered a great itinerary that felt exciting but never overwhelming or exhausting, and most importantly, took into consideration our preferences and style. He totally made the experience worth it. Many Scenic stops plus visits to temple and other key sites were 100%. I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great snapshot of the oahu through a private tour!

Sierra was a wonderful, fun, & informative guide, she taught us more about Hawaii’s history and the native Hawaiians in one day than I’d learned in my 10 previous visits to Hawaii. The tour covered so many beautiful spots, and it was nice to let someone else do the driving while seeing & learning things we never would have on our own. We felt very lucky to have spent the day with Sierra & we highly recommend this private tour.

We went primarily to the North shore to see the surfing sports made famous over the past 50 -60years. We had Santiago who was our guide.
Santiago was very knowledgeable and a surfer so we could relate to the surfing spots. he showed different interesting Hawaiian sites on the way up to the North Shore and the way back on the east side of the island. He would give good information short and concise. Not rambling on like some tour operators liking the sound of their own voice.
It was a very good day, Santiago added to the experience, I would do it again.

Johnny was our guide on a 6 hour customized island tour full of great island tidbits and picturesque viewpoints. The highlight of the trip was seeing about six sea turtles at Turtle Beach! Our tour guide was funny, laidback and informative. He also accommodated our request to go to Dole like a champ and even knew how to get Dole Whip faster than waiting in the first long line. I appreciated the Covid safety measures and the fact it was a small private group. A great way to preview the island and see practically everything in one tour.

We had a great tour with Zack. He was super easy to tour around with. He showed us the east side beaches and helped out with photos. He gave a good and easy understanding of the island. He showed us the food trucks on the north side and really the best part was that we didn’t have to drive so we could absorb what was going on around us better. I was very happy to experience the tour and would very much recommend it to anyone looking for a first time Ísland visit or if you only have limited timing and want to explore the island in a day. It’s also a good refresher for anyone who may not visit often to reset locations in one’s mind.

To say that Daniel's Circle Island tour experience was great would not be praise enough! Daniel did a fantastic job getting everything we wanted and needed to be seen on a last minute notice. I called him at 738 and by 10:30 we were on our way.
That extra effort would have been exemplary enough but then we met Julie, our guide. In 15 minutes we felt like we had connected with an old friend who was waiting for years to show us Oahu!
Julie became a friend who put the needs of my wife and I at the top of her itinerary.
She is a fantastic guide and a first class lady! Her knowledge of the island, its history, and the "local" secret places was well worth the price of the excursion.
When this newly retired couple looks back on this dream come true trip, this day will hold a special place in our memories. Julie and Daniel have reserved a special place in our hearts forever!
Book them and you wont be sorry, guaranteed .

This Custom Private Tour was incredible and made us feel like VIP's.
We've done several bus tours with large groups and it's not fun when you're tight on time and want to cover lots of ground.
Cameron picked us up at the agreed time and we hit the roads of Honolulu and Oahu - he was an excellent driver, very friendly, fun and accommodating.
He knows the island very well and pointed out lots of sites, shared facts and even selected an excellent lunch spot.
There's simply no better way to explore Hawaii!
