Overview
Hear tales of murder, mayhem, and mystery on a haunted history tour of the French Quarter. Under the cover of darkness, learn what makes New Orleans one of the most haunted cities in America as you visit the real-life sites of shocking crimes, tragedies, and reports of paranormal activity. Don't bring the kids, as this adult-centric romp through the city’s underbelly gets gruesome.
What to Expect
After the sun goes down, meet your storytelling guide in the French Quarter and set off for lamplit streets and dark alleyways to explore the dark side of this historic neighborhood. Visit allegedly haunted sites, such as the LaLaurie Mansion (featured in American Horror Story: Coven) and an arson site that’s reportedly teeming with the spirits of those killed in the fire.

Stop at haunted bars, former brothels, and voodoo hot spots, hearing about the true crimes and urban legends that scarred New Orleans. Learn of paranormal sightings in this famously haunted neighborhood, and keep an eye out for any otherworldly activity. Due to the graphic nature of the stories, the tour is not suitable for children under 16 years of age.

Elaine was lots of fun!

We often do ghost tours in new cities just to have a little bit of kitsch fun and walk off any jet lag. Elaine and her tour partner Valentine both gave great tours, filled with interesting stories and fun details. I would have liked a...More

Yes, there’s quite a bit of history. The whole tour is outside. Was there in May and was definitely warm and humid.

Walk along the street. A lot of the locations are private residences.
