Your Oak Alley Plantation and Laura Plantation tour from New Orleans starts with a hotel pickup at select downtown New Orleans hotels. Board a minibus, and enjoy a comfortable ride to the plantations.

Stop at Laura Plantation to explore the 200-plus-year-old sugarcane plantation with your guide. Learn about what life was like there, as well as about the woman who inspired its name. Get the opportunity to walk through the main house, as well as the slave quarters.

Next up is Oak Alley Plantation, which was built in 1839. Gaze on the Mississippi River as your guide tells stories from the plantation’s past.

The tour concludes with drop-off at your New Orleans hotel.

Oak Alley sugar plantation tour.

Nancy was our tour guide. Very nice lady and informative on the history of New Orleans and during our tour. She answered all of our questions and made it a fun bus tour to there and back.

Magnificent Oak trees.

Very beautiful grounds and the big house is a beautiful example of southern architecture of the slave period. The oak trees are truly magnificent.
