This tour was fun and Randy was an excellent guide. He had a large group to manage at night within the French Quarter and Bourbon Street which isn’t a small task. He was a great story teller, made sure we all could hear him and he shared some personal stories as well. We did the over 18 version and I would highly recommend it if you enjoy learning fun facts about the city you are visiting.

We were lucky to get a good night of weather walking the streets of the French Quarter with Graham who was excellent in his leading of the tour of different stops with fantastic tales of NOLA from years ago. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to hear history of the city you might not easily be able to do on your own. Doing it at night was a fun activity after dinner and added some mystery walking the streets in the dark!

We went on this walk last night with Wendy Darling as our tour guide. It was really busy on the streets with other tours going on being a Friday night, but Wendy made sure we could all hear her well enough. Her knowledge of the local history, tales and rumours was brilliant and she was happy to discuss as much about the locations and other tales as you walked between the locations. Her presentation was excellent with lots of us either cringing and gasping at the stories being told or laughing at her stories. Would recommend this tour to anyone, but maybe try a week day when it is much quieter and half the group isn’t drunk and being a little distracting to others.

We walked around 6 to 10 blocks. Stopped at three or four locations, hear three or four stories of 5 to 8 mins each. Tour lasted about 1:30 mins (inluding a break of 15mins). Lost few participants through the tour due to boredom (dont blame them). Guides are great, they really try, but is hard to keep the interest wt so many ppl walking by, the noise around you and the nature of the storytelling (basically they tell you the story while you look at the building and walk to the next site) you can do that yourself while reading google search hits on the locations. Pretty inexpensive and like to help the local economy, however even then I was let down by the lack of wow/fun factor compared to other "haunted" tours I've done.

Don’t waste your money on this. Our tour guide (Keenan) was rude from the start and was yelling at other people for just walking by who weren’t on the tour. We paid to hear good stories that spooked us and he added his twist to the stories to make them lighter and we could barely even follow the stories so we left. So disappointed. He talked to people in the group like they were stupid and yelled at people for taking photos of stuff around us, shouldn’t be a tour guide in my opinion.

We signed up for Ghost/VooDoo/Vampires and got murder murder murder.
Check in was a clusterf**k, this place is super unorganized.
We arrived (4 in my group) 10 minutes early and when the first person didn't have our names, he sent us to another person who could get us started. That person was overwhelmed because she had a few large groups to check in. After tour start time, we still weren't checked in.
Finally person #1 circled back to us, because the tours were all supposed to depart, and he said he could try again and somehow found us and checked us in. However, he sent us on the wronf tour. And no one announces the tours while you wait...it's just you go to that person and you go to that person. Only after we started walking and hit our first stop did the guide say what tour it was. By then it was too late to stop/go back to the check in place.
A lot of people in our group were very disappointed and while more than 20 started, we ended with about 8.
Over drinks, after the tour, my friends and I decided we proably should have left, too, but while we were already on the tour it seemed really awkward to jjust walk away. Also, we paid and there were no refunds, so it was like setting a small stack of $20s on fire and no one wanted to do that.

Very disappointed. I'm sure our tour guide Keenan is a great guy but he's not very good at dealing with people. He heckled other pedestrians who needed to pass in front of him because they couldn't use the sidewalk. He was intolerant to paying group members who were taking pictures. He also was intolerant of cars that were driving in the street while he was standing in the road. I was told by other tour guides that tourism contributes to the economy. It doesn't help when he expressed his personel dislike for visitors to this fine city that just want to learn about it. I ended up leaving early becase of my disappointment.

I just came back from my tour around New Orleans and let me just say, it was amazing. The whole tour was so interesting and our guide (shout-out to Graham) was the best. He gave us very detailed information about the different sites we visited and the way he explained the history of them was so fascinating and entertaining, he had the whole group laughing the entire time with his jokes and charismatic personality. I highly recommend going on this tour when visiting New Orleans (especially with Graham ;D) because it is not only super fun and exciting, but it is a great way to learn about the culture and history here.

This was enjoyable if not sensational for a digression from the everyday sites of NOLA. the guide was a good storyteller but had a strong breathy presence of having drank a few before our tour. It did not seem to impede his dialogue or take a toll on weaving this history and lore of the French Quarter. Be prepared to see multiple group tours traveling the same streets and stops, each sharing their “history” of the area. 1 example, our guide said Nick Cage had bought the a haunted mansion at !8 mil some rime back when I heard another guide say it was $3.5mil. All in all, a fun walking tour but a bit skeptical in some of the history not to imply the places aren’t haunted.

It's a couple of weeks since we did this tour and I'd forgotten our tour guide's name. She was so brilliant I wanted to make sure I mentioned her and so I've just spent the best past of an hour trawling reviews to try and find her. And it is ....MISS CARRIE! This lady is such great fun, a fantastic, theatrical storyteller, and highly knowledgeable about the history of the place. She takes questions and answered every one. Honestly, you cannot fail to be engaged by Miss Carrie on this tour. The tour itself is super fun and the setting especially at dusk into dark provides the perfect backdrop to the stories. Fully recommend.

Contact them directly to ask. I would think free, but you never know. On a side note, I would recommend a one year old on a night tour be carried in a body carrier of some kind as opposed to stroller since many streets aren't even and it's night time in a party city. Have fun!

Hi, if we do the 7pm tour will there be mosquitos since the sun will be setting? We would like to do the tour in July when we arrive. I did the tour back in 2013 but in May and it was fun and not very annoying with bugs. Thank you

The tour we went on was aware of younger kids and content. On one of the last stops of the tour (Lalaurie House), one of the parents walked down the block with the younger kids so that they couldn’t hear. The tour guide gave the parents the option to not have their kids listen to the more gruesome details.
