Overview
Snowmobiling on your own takes a lot of planning—you need equipment, to have your routes mapped out, and experience. This snowmobile tour near Fairbanks takes care of all that for you, providing a heated helmet, snow gear, and, of course, a snowmobile. Your guide gives you a safety orientation with driving instructions and lets you practice before you hit the trails.
What to Expect
Meet for this Fairbanks snowmobile tour at the designated meeting spot on the day of your tour.
Your guide gets you suited up in snow gear, including boots and gloves, to make sure you’re warm enough when you get outside. Listen to a short safety orientation and driving instructions.
Then, your guide lets you practice on your snowmobile, so you feel confident to drive. Your guide also gages your skill level, and takes you on trails appropriate for your skill level. Zoom through the Alaskan wilderness and keep an eye out for wildlife.

There will not be enough snow (if any at all) in September. Usually by early to mid November we will have enough snow to operate.
