Overview

Cruise the Savannah riverfront on a boat tour that fits your interests and schedule. From brunch to lunch to dinner and even sunset and sightseeing cruises, there is a cruise for every traveler. Some tours are fully narrated, while others focus on the sights as they drift by. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, as are food and drinks (included on some cruises), with a cash bar available.

What to Expect

Meet about 30 to 60 minutes before your cruise time to exchange your voucher at the Savannah Riverboat Ticket Office at 9 East River Street.

There are multiple cruise options on the Savannah River Queen available. Depending on your choice, you will embark on a lunch cruise, brunch cruise, dinner cruise, sunset cruise, sightseeing cruise, party cruise, or gospel cruise.

Once boarded, choose your seat, either heading indoors to the climate-controlled dining and observation deck, or outdoors to the upper deck for sunbathing. On most tours, you’ll hear city history and fun facts about Savannah as you float and take in the sights, although a few tours do not include narration.

Iced tea, lemonade, soft drinks, or coffee are included with all dining cruises, and some cruises feature live entertainment. All cruises include an open bar.

Your boat returns to the original departure point at the end of your cruise.

Disappointed Dinner Cruise

Very disappointed in the "experience". Appearently people that are taking the 'susnet cruise' are on the same boat. No problem except they showed up on the top floor and then began to eat from the bufett. We paid $70 for this 'experience if I recall...More

Lunch on the River Good

If you've dined on a riverboat before, you know what this is. Lunch was pretty good, fried chicken very good. Narration was well done. Overall, an afternoon well spent.

"Underwelmed"

What a disappointment, make believe paddle steamer, really? Took us on an uninteresting tour of the local industry on the banks of the river, not much more we can say. The lunch "buffet" was unremarkable. This is not what we looked forward to.

We prepaid for our tickets but we still had to stop at the office for boarding passes. It's right across from the boat. No problem.

Three desserts were offered, cheesecake & pecan pie were two of them. There are bars on every level of the boat. In the dinner dining room your server will bring drinks to your table. Those drinks are not included in the... More
