Tailored walking tours of Little Italy and historic Wall Street
Views of Manhattan skyline from the Liberty Island ferry
What to Expect
Your day begins at St. Patrick's Cathedral, where you’ll meet your guide for introductions and snapshots. An early departure time ensures you beat the crowds.
Stroll down to Little Italy, where your guide gives you an intimate tour of the neighborhood’s landmarks. Stop at an Italian eatery for lunch (own expense) and pause there for people-watching.
After lunch, continue on to the Statue of Liberty. A 15-minute ferry ride with views of downtown Manhattan drops you off on Liberty Island, where your admission ticket allows you to breeze past long lines and take a guided audio tour of the pedestal. From the pedestal, snap photos of the city skyline from across the Hudson River.
In the afternoon, join your guide for a walking tour of historic Wall Street. Cobblestone streets lead you past Federal Hall, Trinity Church, and One World Trade. From there, head to the Empire State Building, where you'll skip notoriously long lines for the observation deck. Linger for the panoramic views of the city, and end your tour in Times Square just in time for dinner.

This was a waste of money. Our guide left a lot to be desired.

You can scip altogether if you so choose but I think that it is best not to waste your time looking. I have read the answers of the other travellers and agree with them. Further I think it is nice to sit back for a bit with your cotravellers and exchage info and sometimes if you get into a nice group pleasantries and stories from different countries.

Like the tour states, a full day, 8-9 hours. We rode on the city bus, several trips on the NYC subways and a lot of walking and standing, I'm 61 and I had no problem keeping up with the group. But! you see almost everything that makes New York City the big apple, and that takes a lot of getting around. Probably the best thing we did there, worth every penny.
