Overview

Experience the atmosphere of historic Greenwich Village on this gourmet Italian food tour with tastes of pasta, meatballs, and dessert. See landmarks with a local guide that you might have missed if exploring on your own. The preplanned tasting menu of the Village’s most beloved hidden gems means you won’t have to sift through online ratings and reviews—and it leaves you full and satisfied.

What to Expect

With multiple departure times, begin the tour at the time that works with your schedule. Your local guide greets you at St. Anthony’s, the first Italian church in New York City.

Walk through Greenwich Village with your guide who points out landmarks you might not have noticed, including a former beatnik hangout spot and the first espresso shop in the neighborhood. Your guide provides an insider's take on its rich history and culture.

Throughout the tour, stop to sample Italian specialties from the hole-in-the-wall establishments loved by locals and discover the neighborhood’s hidden gems. Your tasting menu for the afternoon includes meatballs, pizza, cannoli, and more. Alcoholic and soft drinks (own expense) are available as well.

The tour ends near Washington Square Park—the perfect place to rest and recharge.

BAD EXPERIENCE

Although Greg seemed pleasant, I wasn't impressed with the $59 food tour of Greenwich Village. We had cold foccacia bread, gelato, a piece of caramel candy, a meatball without sauce, a strong cup of coffee I couldn't drink, a small rice ball, and a pastry...More

Ladydi424 It is unfortunate you had a bad experience. Any food tour with alcohol cost much more than $59. GREG WALKS NYC has never offered nor advertised alcohol. Tour details do not indicate pasta would be sampled and the tour has never have provided pasta...More
