Steve nailed it.
Dec 2019 • Couples
Our tour guy was Steve and even we had many tours the last days, (we came from Greece) this guy was the best. Knowledge with hummor combined, made that tour one of our favourite.

Steve was amazing
Steve the tour guide was fantastic, engaged with everyone on the tour really well, was very knowledgable and very funny. What a guy. Would really recommend this tour to anyone that is new to New York or even if you’ve been before.

Steve is the best!
Dec 2019 • Family
I went on this tour with my sister. We are from Holland an New York has a lot of dutch history. Steve told us all about it and more in a nice, funny and easy way. He also let us guess a view times and told a lot of personal information. He was very interested in us too and gave us some tips for a nice restaurant. It was very cold but his stories made us forget all about that. Anyway: GREAT TOUR, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

A brilliant tour guide!
Nov 2018 • Family
We visited New York in November and it was soooo cold! We were the only group on this particular tour, which was quite nice as it meant we got to know Steve, our tour guide, on a more personal level. He seemed genuinely interested in getting to know us, and had so many fun stories from his life to tell as we walked in-between the sites. He is so knowledgable, and as a New-Yorker, he said that even he learnt something when he started doing these tours! Despite how cold it was, we still thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

Fun and Informative
Nov 2018 • Friends
The tour is really interesting and informative and overall a great value for the time and money, but the real enjoyment for me came from our guide, Steve. Steve has a lot of experience giving tours in New York, and his outlook and attitude gave the tour a real authentic flavor. You'll be reciting his stories and imitating his Queens accent to your friends later, if only to borrow a small fraction of his charisma. A+.

Fun, Interesting, Entertaining and Worthwhile
Oct 2018 • Solo
Steve, our guide, a native New Yorker, made the tour great. He was intelligent, knowledgeable, engaging and funny. The walk began in the small park just across the plaza from the American Indian Museum (the museum is a good location to put into your phone to find the starting point). The walk ended at the 911 Memorial. It was perfectly paced and Steve was very careful when crossing the street to make sure nobody experienced the wrong side of Manhattan traffic. We saw all the sights mentioned in the description and a few more as well. Steve had many good stories, both from his time working on Wall Street and from history.

Fantastic guide, loads of great stories
We loved this walking tour. Just the right amount of walking, takes about two hours but at a slow pace with lots of stops.

Our guide, steve, was very knowledgeable, a real New Yorker, very friendly and loads of fun. A great tour, would recommend to anyone. Thank you, Steve.

Best tour we did in NY
When we're on a city trip we always try to do a walking tour. We had already done two in NY but this one was the best by far.

This was mostly because we had the living legend Steve Axelrod as our guide. The man has not only a Wikipedia-esque knowledge of the city where he was born and bred but he's also a very funny guy.

Be sure not to miss this.
