Andrea led us through SoHo, Little Italy and Chinatown with a lot of enthusiasm, fun anekdotes and knowledge considering the areas. She gave awesome tips for great food as well, with a little break to experience the local foods.
Would recommend to everyone. Nice experience!

Jacob held our interest with stories of the early Dutch and how they used huge ballast stones from their ships to make the paving stones you walk on today on the tour.....How a large Italian community is almost completely gone..... and a vibrant Chinese population remains. He gave good advice about food, including a short break to enjoy it (Ferrara's Lobster Tail is an unmitigated luxury!). We ended in Chinatown with more tales about Tong Gang fighting and a recommendation for the best and cheapest pork buns. This was a wonderful way for me (a first-time visitor) to quickly and easily take in the culture.

We were staying downtown this time and wanted to see more of the local area history and get our bearings. Andrea was so enthusiastic and a font of knowledge, happy to answer questions. It gave us a lovely summary of 3 great areas that we can now revisit in depth while we are here. Great if a youve already done all the big tourist sites. Also I'd highly recommend January - nice and quiet everywhere but buzzing in vibrant Chinatown.

Overall it was fantastic to see and hear all about the old history of this unique neighborhoods in NY.

The tour is exactly long enough to see all and still have some time in Little Italia to get some pastries.

Our guide Arielle is really very enthusiastic and ,charming and did a really good job and knows soo much about all. I hope she will become this famous movie star or actrice and so I can say , she was our guide :) !!
