How to See New York for the First Time.
After the stress of clearing US immigration it was great to be welcomed to New York by Isaac of NYFT. He arrived early after we advised NYFT that we cleared immigration much earlier that expected. The transport was a very comfortablle Lincoln SUV with the seat height permitting a great view of the city.
We had never been to NYC before so we were shown sites and landmarks that we had heard of but would have had no idea or clue about where to look for them. Any traffic obstruction was easily resolved by Isaac's local knowledge and driving skills.
Isaac was well informed and easy to talk to and with plenty of local history knowledge.
There was so much to see and it was good that we chose the 5 hour tour. Anything more would have been too much for us as aged mid seventies. Any less we would have missed out.
The tour was expensive but value for money. Having a private tour was the best type of tour for us and both my wife and I have no hesitation in recommending NYFT and Isaac to anyone who like us had no knowledge of New York.

Great Private NYC tour
What a tour! Our driver Sammy was great. Nancy our tour guide was amazing. We had a short chat before the tour to find out what we wanted to see. We have been to the city often and did “hop on-hop off” tours many years ago but we were looking forward to something more personal. She was very knowledgeable and taught us so much about the city. We were looking for some of the best quick eats to have a food tour of sort. She knew exactly where to take us! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 hour tour! It’s a must do!

Take this tour at the beginning of your trip to understand the complexity of New York and her surrounding boroughs
My husband and I highly recommend this private tour service. Isaac is extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of the boroughs. A few of the areas we drove thru included Greenwich Village, Soho and Brooklyn. Their vehicle plus pick up and return to our Manhattan hotel simplified the entire process.

The Best Way to See a City

We took the 5 hour SUV tour of NYC. There were 6 of us and our driver was great. He gave us a detailed tour of Manhattan and Brooklyn, showing us little know gems that most tourist do not see. I would definitely recommend private tours whenever time is limited and you want to see as much as possible.

He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and fun! Had a teen and a kid on board and he took us to a candy store, surely got their attention! stopped at a great pizza place and many other great stops!

Can't recommend this enough!! This was my third time using this tour and will use it again. James picked us up in a spacious, comfortable vehicle and was perfect. His level of knowledge was astounding and he cared so much that we were comfortable and really felt like family by the end of the tour. We covered an extensive amount of ground in our six hours and learned so much history, architectural information, and stopped briefly to try some of the best food! Every time my husband and I bring a new family member to NYC I book one of these tours and it really makes the cost of traveling up here to see NYC worth it because these tours truly provide more information than we could possibly get on our own or through less expensive tours. Will be continuing this tradition!

Ok, firstly this was recommended to me by a friend as a way to see a lot of sights in a limited time. And it totally did that. It also showed us many things off the beaten path as well as the larger landmarks we wanted to see. We requested James ( per our recommendation) and he was FANTASTIC! A native New Yorker who knew tons of fascinating facts and places, he really made this tour worthwhile. I was not thinking that $700+ was going to be worth it but it totally was. We visited In dec and traffic is more atrocious than usual and he extended our trip to still get everything in. He lets you out, you walk around and take pics and then move on. I can’t stress enough how fabulous this was. I tried my first Knishe and we visited a really cool candy store for the kids. It was a great experience all around and James was a great guy! Highly recommend.

Best tour ever!

Our driver James, met us at our hotel on time. His vehicle was immaculate. He took us around the city stopping anytime we wanted. We went to Brooklyn to his favorite pizza place. He suggested getting pizza to go. He then took us to a park overlooking the East River with Manhattan in the background. A beautiful spot. We had a couple of places we wanted to see but other than that with left the day up to James...and he did not disappoint! James was so full of knowledge and we learned a lot. We also saw a lot that we could have never seen on our own. We immediately felt comfortable with James and felt like we were longtime friends. We highly recommend this tour and James as your driver. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you James!
