Overview
Cruise all the way around Manhattan Island on a guided boat tour that takes in every angle of New York City’s iconic waterfront. Traveling by boat means unobstructed views of the Manhattan skyline, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty—ideal for snapping memorable photographs. With live narration throughout the cruise, you’ll learn about the Big Apple while passing all five of New York’s boroughs.
What to Expect

Make your way to the Circle Line pier in Manhattan, which is easily reached from the Hudson River Greenway and the cruise terminal.

Your cruise begins on the Hudson River and starts to circle Manhattan Island, following a route that includes three rivers, seven bridges, and up-close views of the Statue of Liberty.

Settle into a comfortable seat and take in the views as your guide points out landmarks on the Manhattan waterfront. There are snacks and drinks available for purchase, too.

Spot the One World Trade Center’s Freedom Tower, the distinctive outline of the Empire State Building, and then pull into New York Harbor to see the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. When you turn up the East River, you’ll cruise past Brooklyn and Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

The tour ends back on the Hudson River pier where you departed.

Great guide, relaxing trip

Our guide was Andy, who was a fascinating and entertaining wealth of information. He is what made the entire trip worthwhile. Good views of the shores and he explained what exactly we were looking at. The acoustics were not as good on the outside, mostly...More

Good intro to NYC

A good way to see the city - you get a great view of the skyline and Liberty. Tons of photo opportunities. Informative commentary if a little repetitive. Tour could potentially benefit from being a little shorter. Owing to bridge repairs they are currently going...More

Do not do premium

Had prebooked tickets and it ended up raining. Do not book premium to "guarantee a seat indoors". There are PLENTY of seats inside for everyone on the cruise. And the small section of premium seats are not the best seats on the boat. I kept...More

I don't know if the cruise line would refund your money, but I doubt it. If you book VIP seats as we did, you are seated inside and it would not matter much what the weather is.

My understanding is that they will not cancel cruises because of rain. Therefore they will not issue refunds in that situation.

Of course you should take your grandson on the Circle Line Cruise. He will ride for free just like any kids younger than 3. You should take the first cruise so it is not too hot.
