Go and take the tour with Chad, you won't be disappointed, it's excellent, the man's knowledge is superb. Taken to all the hot spots, and the super lille, she is beautiful.

On the tour I was on there were two English women, one of whom had done the tour years before and had been so impressed she was back. I understand why, having now done the tour. If I was ever back in SF I would definitely spend the afternoon doing this tour again, The Vantigo tour was a comprehensive and fun afternoon. The time was used effectively with a combination of driving and photo stops at the 'must see' SF highlights. The Combi van could go where the bus buses couldn't, due to restrictions on large tourist capacity vehicles, and Chad had local knowledge to get us to high viewing points to see the city. Chad had great music synced to the area we were visiting or passing, and his commentary and style was pleasant, fun and engaging. Go with Vantigo !! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful tour of San Francisco and Chad was fantastic. He really knows the city and shared a wealth of information about not only the city of San Francisco but also the region before the city's founding. His van 'Lillie' was in perfect condition and added to the experience of seeing the city. We were able to navigate through many of the small, tight places in the city where larger tour vans wouldn't be able to travel. Finally, special compliments to Chad's ability to not only provide a great narration of the tour but he is also able to expertly drive his 50+ year old manual transmission VW bus through the hills of San Francisco. I can't recommend this tour enough.

Chad and Lily (Chad’s Volkswagen bus) were a great team providing us with an insiders tour of the beautiful city of San Francisco. As a native Californian myself, I have been to San Francisco many times and was only taking the tour to provide my European guest with an opportunity to see the City. Chad being a local to San Francisco, showed us parts of the City I have never seen before and provided us with so much of the history. You will also have the opportunity to stop and take photos. Chad knows all the perfect spots for the best pictures and is very entertaining while providing stories about the history of all the different sights you are seeing. I highly recommend this 3 hour tour of San Francisco with Chad in a Volkswagen bus not just to tourists who come from other States or countries but to Californians like me. T

A thoroughly enjoyable experience and a more intimate and personal tour of the sights, best photograph locations and various neighbourhoods of the city that a large open top bus. The star of the tour is the van which everyone photographs while driving around and I would arrange another tour on my next visit. I did take the advice and visit Berners on Haight the following day. Really enjoyed this tour! A fun, safe way to get a great snapshot of the history and main sights you would want to see if you had limited time in San Francisco. We had Chad as our tourguide. He is just the nicest guy!! Already when we arrived he gave us a very heartwarming and nice welcome. Throughout the tour he was always super entertaining and funny. At the same time the tour was very interesting with a lot of new facts and great music. He also showed us a lot of great photospots and took nice photos. Overall just the perfect way to experience San Francisco with a local that clearly knows and truly loves what he’s doing. If you are thinking about doing one of those tours please chose Vantigo tours (with Chad) instead of any other copy cat company!! Overall just amazing.
