Overview
Experience San Francisco’s haunted history on this after-dark walking tour. For 90 minutes, a guide leads you down frightening alleys and through mysterious downtown landmarks while telling stories about the infamous crimes that shaped the City by the Bay. This themed history excursion is perfect for anyone over the age of 10 who appreciates an unusual experience and relishes seeing a beloved city in a darker, more unsettling light.
What to Expect
Meet your guide in Union Square to begin your spooky tour of San Francisco’s downtown and Tenderloin neighborhoods. Then, prepare to get swept up in the horror as your guide tells unnerving tales of unsolved murders, paranormal activity, notorious criminals, shady brothels and brazen assassins.

You’ll walk to the famed St. Francis Hotel, where legendary figures from Hollywood and politics stayed and sometimes died under mysterious circumstances. Learn how the gritty Tenderloin got its name and visit the site of a dramatic suicide that cast a long shadow over downtown.

As the tour circles back to Powell Street and the haunted Union Square Hotel, you’ll visit the Curran Theater murder site, see where the Zodiac Killer found his final victim, and stop at the location where Tessie Wall ran her ill-famed brothel. You'll never see San Francisco the same way.

I'm not to sure about but it's worth an ask, it was only a group of about 12 of us so I'm not sure if they keep the groups small.
