    What to Expect
You'll depart Lahaina Harbor and go out in search of humpback whales who migrate every year from Alaska to Maui to mate and breed. Seeing the amazing ocean giants is an experience you'll never forget. Pec and tail slaps to full breaches, whales coming up to the boat....it can be an amazing show which never fails to bring a smile to one's face.

Throughout the tour, our certified Marine Naturalists will provide educational talks and interpretation of the whale behaviors you are witnessing. There is even a free Jr. Naturalist Program for kids so that they can learn and enjoy their experience as well. Moreover, whale sightings are guaranteed or you will get a gift certificate to go again for free.

These cruises are offered on smooth riding, double-deck, eco-friendly catamarans built for comfort, stability and viewing. The upper deck provides excellent panoramic views and a higher viewing angle, but there is also ample space to move around and shaded cabins below deck. Sodas, juices, alcohol and snacks are also available for purchase inside the bottom deck cabin, as well as two restrooms.

Selected Pacific Whale because it is a foundation supporting whales. We also preferred to tour on a boat - not raft. Tour staff/guides were very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about their work with whales. Very enjoyable boat ride. We did see a mother whale and her

As per my title. I get it, if whales are not out then so be it...but tell your customer. It ruined a day we could have done other things. I had to call the company from the pier at Lahaina harbour. I was told to call trip advisor....not even a we are sorry and abruptly hung

Thank you for bringing this to my attention and I offer you my personal apology. We did cease whale watch operations at the end of April this year due to a lack of regular humpback whale sightings. Our staff are informed to try and contact all guests on cancelled cruises through all contact means provided by our guests and or booking agencies (phone, email, hotel and agency). It sounds as if you booked through Trip Advisor, so we would have only have a phone number contact as well as the ability to try and send you a message through Trip Advisor. I’d greatly appreciate it if you would contact me directly at johngaskins@pacificwhale.org so that I can pinpoint what trip you were on and what means were utilized to contact you so that such issues don’t happen in the future. We have built our reputation over the last 39 years by providing outstanding experiences and customer service. When that doesn’t happen, we try to make it right. I look forward to hearing from you.

We got really lucky after our original date was canceled. With a wedding on the books and just flying in the day before, we were hesitant to book the tour due to time/stress. We pushed through though and I was blown away. This is the second tour I've taken to spot whales. The

This was a fantastic experience, start to finish. Great staff, boat, etc. Very professional, informative, and entertaining. Though it was the last day of the season, we were fortunate to see a huge pod of spinner dolphin. Then just minutes later, a Humpback Whale momma and
