This waterfalls and rainforest hike is ideal for travelers looking for an off-beat exploration of Maui’s hidden beauty. Travel to one of the island’s lush valleys, and let your guide take you to secret waterfalls and pools. You’ll take a moderately difficult hike through the rainforest, encountering at least three waterfalls and stopping for a swim and lunch. A hotel pickup option makes for a hassle free adventure.

What to Expect
Begin your tour with a pickup at your hotel or in Kahului near the start of the Hana Highway. Drive past Paia and the famous Ho’okipa lookout, heading deeper into the rainforest. Arrive at an off-the-beaten-path valley chosen for its hiking trails and waterfalls.
Encounter at least three waterfalls while you hike a moderately difficult 2.5-mile (4-kilometer) trail. Stop at a hidden pool for a dip and healthy lunch made with island ingredients. Relax at the base of the pool, or dive into it from rocks above.
Continue through the rainforest, taking in the scenery and natural beauty. Make your way back to the van, and finish the tour with the journey back to the original departure point.
