Highly recommend. It's a long drive to the Polihale park and worth every minute. The beach is gorgeous and the views during kayaking are fantastic. Mike and Web were great guides and super helpful. We saw a ton of wildlife and it was truly a...More

Yes the Polihale Road...love it and hate it, but it doe give us access to mount our Na Pali Iki tour to Miloli'i and back 3 days a week.
Of the ocean tours that we do, it does sport the most sea life...More
Active family here, kids 14 and 10. We booked a "Maverick" trip, with a guide from Ha'ena to Miloli'i, camp overnight, and another guide picked us up to take us to Pollihale the next day.
First, think of this as an active adventure, not a...More

Aloha Big Jack,
I remember you all!
Sleeping under the stars at Miloli'i is always memorable.
Your review give a nice and realistic description of what is involved in our Maverick Na Pali sea kayak guided camping tours.

Cannot say enough positive things about this tour and our guide, Dan. It was a blast! He was very knowledgeable about the island, and fun to be around. The paddling was easier than I thought it would be, and the sights and company made the...More

Glad to hear that you enjoyed paddling with the other Dan.
Our Polihale Iki is a softer version of our longer Traditional approach from Ha'ena with less miles to paddle and generally "calmer" seas.
The dolphin show is almost a given and the...More
Perfect trip. 18.8 miles of stunning coastline, sea caves, sea life. All my dreams came true and no nightmares. Guides were helpful and knowledgeable. I felt safe the entire trip. Four in our group, ages 21-59. We were tired when done, but exhilarated. Highly recommend.

For the right person....sea kayaking Na Pali is classic...for the wrong person...can be a long hard day.
It's a beautiful planet and Na Pali is a one of the jewels.
Thanks for your recommendation.
Being a very experienced sea paddler from Australia, I have wanted to do this 18 NM (30 km) paddle for a while. I would not recommend it for novice paddlers. It can involve significant swell and rebound around cliff lines, cave entrances and tour boat...More

What a wonderful and informed review. I even was mentioned and remain flattered.
The founders of Kayak Kaua'i, truly love to paddle (having paddled the entire Alaska Inside Passage from Seattle to Skagway, from Big Island back to Kauai'i etc),
Kayaking is not...More
